GINTEC Team Scales Mount Wutai’s West Terrace to Strengthen Resilience

From May 15th to 17th, 2025, GINTEC organized an intensive team-building activity to the West Terrace of Mount Wutai in Shanxi Province. All members showed determination and resilience, encouraging each other throughout the climb. Although the journey was long, it was not tiring, and everyone happily reached the summit of Mount Wutai.

The hiking journey involved a cumulative ascent of over 20 kilometers, with steep trails and sandstorms testing the members' physical strength and willpower. Facing rugged terrain and dust storms, team members encouraged each other to overcome challenges, maintaining an optimistic attitude to keep moving forward. This activity aimed to cultivate members' resilience and strengthen team collaboration, building the mental strength needed to tackle challenges at work.

After the event, several members reflected, “Working in the surveying industry is like climbing a mountain. Every step requires diligence, and sometimes we need to grit and persevere. This experience helps us better understand how to break through under pressure.” GINTEC will continue to empower team building through practical activities, transforming the climbing spirit of "not afraid of hardship and daring to strive" into an intrinsic motivation for enterprise development.

Geodetic and high-precision GNSS measurements require accurate knowledge of the reception characteristics of the GNSS antennas used, making antenna calibration essential. In pursuit of superior product accuracy, GINTEC entrusted the third-party organization GeoService GmbH to perform a professional calibration on its G50 antenna (certification name: GING50 NONE). The calibration employed the robot-based Geo++® R-GNPCV real-time calibration system to obtain an absolute mean GNSS Phase Center Variation (PCV) type. The acquired absolute PCV data includes the following features: absolute 3D offsets, absolute PCV values, PCV from 0° to 90° elevation, elevation- and azimuth-dependent PCV, and is entirely free from multipath effects. The resulting PCV values are independent of the reference antenna used and enable comp...
