MindCloud Studio

MindCloud Studio is a professional 3D point cloud processing software independently developed by Liuxing Technology. It is compatible with all Liuxing Technology scanners and is designed specifically for processing .lx point clouds and .olx files from Liuxing Technology products. It can accurately analyze the data information, fully explore the value of the data, and lay a solid foundation for subsequent data production.

Latest Updates

1. The interface has been redesigned and the user experience upgraded with a completely new UI design. The overall operation logic has been optimized, improving the software's usability. A new 3D walkthrough mode has been added, allowing users to flexibly browse and view details of large 3D scenes using keyboard shortcuts.

2. Core Algorithm and Processing Performance Optimization: Algorithm Improvement: The core loop closure detection algorithm has been upgraded, significantly improving the success rate of loop closure detection and reducing the false detection rate in indoor scenes, completely resolving phase closure issues; the latest texture mapping algorithm has been integrated to improve the texture quality of 3D models. Performance Optimization: A new "robust processing mode" and keyframe filtering mechanism have been introduced. By performing I/O block processing on large datasets, the peak memory usage during the transfer of massive point cloud data is greatly reduced while maintaining model accuracy.

3. Data Validation and Process Control: New functions for missing photos and automatic exposure value adaptation have been added to prevent the generation of "black blocks" and abnormal brightness in the model from the source; a pure data transfer mode without image folders is supported to meet the rapid processing needs of specific projects.

4. Professional Analysis Tools and Report Generation: Added practical business tools such as triangular mesh construction and heap volume calculation, and supports automatic generation of formatted PDF reports after importing control points.

5. Format Compatibility and Automation Capabilities Expansion: Added export support for professional formats such as Mipmap, GLB, and ContextCapture; deeply optimized CLI (command line) capabilities, supporting fully automated execution of mesh generation, texture mapping, and map export, providing a foundation for large-scale automated workflow.

  • Q1. How far apart can the device and the phone be?

A: Since the device and the phone rely on WiFi for communication, considering the potential environmental interference and fluctuations in the amount of data transmitted, it is recommended to use a phone holder to fix the phone to the device and not let it come off.

  • Q2. Can't find the device's WiFi?

A: Please restart your device and try searching again with a different phone. Please check if there are many WiFi signal sources in your environment; try again in a different environment.

  • Q3. Why can't my phone connect to the app after connecting to the device's Wi-Fi?

A: Please check if any other mobile phones are connecting to this device.

  • Q4. Why can't the APP connect to the device?

A: Please check if your phone has granted the app location permissions. Restart the app after granting location permissions.

  • Q5. Why does the connection seem to be interrupted during the scan?

A: Please turn off your mobile data and ensure your Wi-Fi connection remains constant. If the app fails to automatically reconnect, please test with a different phone and report this phone model to customer support. (For iPhones, please keep the app in the foreground and the screen constantly on.)

  • Q6. The computer does not recognize the hard drive?

A: First, ensure the device is powered on. Second, connect the device using the original data cable provided by the manufacturer or a high-speed data transmission cable that supports the USB 3.0 protocol. Finally, confirm that both ports are securely inserted.

  • Q7. What kind of charger do I need to charge the device?

A: It is recommended that the charger power be between 35W and 67W. A steady flashing blue light indicates normal charging, and a solid blue light indicates that the battery is fully charged.
