From November, 2022, GINTEC launches a new handheld controller, P9IV.

Distinctively, P9IV is designed ergonomically to be served as a comfortable controller conforming to common user habits. With 5.0 inch HD touch screen, it has only 28 keys and 2 indicators, but meets all operational requirements on data collection during surveying, mapping and monitoring. Besides, made of magnesium alloy in industrial grade, P9IV is rugged enough to be used in tough field work for long duration.

Geodetic and high-precision GNSS measurements require accurate knowledge of the reception characteristics of the GNSS antennas used, making antenna calibration essential. In pursuit of superior product accuracy, GINTEC entrusted the third-party organization GeoService GmbH to perform a professional calibration on its G50 antenna (certification name: GING50 NONE). The calibration employed the robot-based Geo++® R-GNPCV real-time calibration system to obtain an absolute mean GNSS Phase Center Variation (PCV) type. The acquired absolute PCV data includes the following features: absolute 3D offsets, absolute PCV values, PCV from 0° to 90° elevation, elevation- and azimuth-dependent PCV, and is entirely free from multipath effects. The resulting PCV values are independent of the reference antenna used and enable comp...
